Infrastructure Matters: Drinking Water Treatment

At a drinking water treatment plant we’re taking water from rivers and processing it into clean, safe, high quality drinking water. We have three drinking water treatment plants and together we produce about 300 million gallons of water every day, for drinking, cooking, showering, washing clothes. It really all adds up. People

consume about a hundred gallons of water per person every day, but they don’t necessarily understand or even think about what has to go into the treatment process in order to keep that water flowing at your tap and keeping it safe and healthy.
